College Week October 17 - 21

It's College Week next week!  Getting excited about the future!

In what has become an annual event, Mundelein High School students and staff will focus on college during College Week October 17 - 21.  The goal is to make students aware of the "World of Possibilities" that surround their college choices and all the extras that go with that.

Some of the ongoing activities throughout the week include staff members wearing college attire in hopes that students will start conversations about why staff members chose a certain college and why.  It usually expands to other topics as well like choosing a major, costs, social life, etc.  Teachers will also use a PowerPoint presentation and speak about their personal college experiences with their classes.  See below for more information.

Dr. Kroll meets with Student Leadership to discuss their questions regarding the change in bell schedule and how to best communicate changes to the rest of the student body.

Last week, physical science students were studying solar energy.  The concept was collecting sunlight through solar arrays to heat water.  Students designed their own models of mirror arrays to focus the sunlight onto the cans of water to see which model heated the water the most.  All this done on the new 3rd floor balcony.
