Dart Foundation Donates $5000 to Robotics Club
Manny Aldana, Project Lead the Way and Robotics Team coach, and Larry Calhoun, Fine/Applied Arts Department Chair, submitted a grant request to Dart Foundation for tools and equipment to be used by students in class and in competition.  This funding will significantly increase the capacity of Mundelein High School to reach current students as well as increase the awareness of STEM-related courses and curriculum for future students.  Congratulations to the Robotics Team and Mr. Aldana!

The Dart Foundation is a private family foundation established by Dart Container Corporation founder William A. Dart and his wife Claire T. Dart.  The Foundation supports projects that enhance education, especially in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math, and those that improve the quality of life in specific communities.
